Product Description

More than a mixer, this is a kitchen machine, the latest innovation from Bosch, which introduced the first model in 1951. Planetary gearing (think 9th grade astronomy mobiles) moves the whisks an dough hook accessories in an elliptical motion ensuring that every area of the mixing bowl is reached. The result? Smooth batter and consistent dough. Those with limited counter space will appreciate the compact size of this multi-function appliance which carries a full range of accessories.

5The Best Thing In My Kitchen
By Ringer
First I must say that Bosch's customer service is the worst I have ever seen or dealt with. They are rude and demeaning but if you never have to deal with them then this product is a joy to own and use.
It is the best thing in my kitchen. It is the very best mixer I have ever had or used and that has been plenty because I am getting up in years. This mixer out does even my Kitchen Aid by lots and it looks great on my counter. I gave away the Kitchen Aid.
It is not just a mixer because it has many attachments and that turns it into a blender, a grain & meat grinder, a cookie press, a shreeder, food processor, a berry press and on and on. You do not need to have all those other things sitting all over your kitchen taking up space because this does it all.
You might be thinking that you have tried those machines that claim to do it all but because they try to do it all they do not do anything well. That is not the case here. It really does do it all and does i t better!!
I cook and bake all the time and holidays are special at my home because of all the great smells that come out of my kitchen so I need not good but great appliances. This is a great one and it saves me so much time. Its has plenty of power to handle anything I have asked it to do.
I recommend it highly but I would rather jump off a cliff then to deal with the company or their customer service.

5Mizkz

I'v had a bosch since 1990, and I've yet to find an appliance to compare. I would love to upgrade to the larger model. I had a Kitchen Aid Pro in my business and had to send it back to the company three times in two years. I never want to own another Kitchen Aid. I highly recommend this product for everyday baking, and if you do large volumns of bread, I would recommend the larger one. This model says it will do three loaves, and I have done 3, but two work out perfectly. It makes the best homemade bread I'v ever tasted.

5I like it..
By Elizabeth
Just received my Bosch and have already made some tests on it:

Egg whites: superb, does really great job!

Creaming butter & sugar: does really well at this, too.

Now bread: Well, I've mixed up a total of seven loaves with it this afternoon, pretty much all in a row. Rye, WW, a mix of WW, Rye and White. I think I like it. It is def different from my roomy Kitchenaid 600 pro(which of course is broken after several repairs...last blow out, the other day while kneading a 3 cup loaf of WW!). There is a little learning curve, what with the smaller space, and the differing kneading mechanism. It moves more, that's for sure. Got a little warm, but never hot. I did my loaves in batches of two(six cups/two loaves) and one singleton. There was some dough hook creep on the big batches. I think I will like doing them more one at a time, as I get to that 'sweet' spot more quickly of the three pronged dough animal, two bits slapping against the bowl(if y ou know what I mean, ha!). The loaves all rose and baked up beautifully.

Like I said, it IS different, if you are used to KA. But the workout I just put this little guy through would have killed a KA, even new out of the box!

So I think I like it. Glad I didn't get the big one, btw. This really seems just right. Now I've got a lot of bread to freeze, ha!

BTW: ordered this yesterday, got it this morning! Thanks Amazon!

UPDATE 4/22: Just made a batch of brioche dough. This mixer handled the task so much better than my Kitchenaid Pro 6 ever did. I was able to knead this tricky dough the full 15 mins necessary for proper texture. You just can't make good brioche with a two minute Kitchenaid 'knead'. Very impressed! I also made some glorious all-butter orange yeast rolls, whose texture after ten minutes of kneading in the Bosch was far superior to the short KA knead texture. Wow..the Bosch hardly got warm. If I tried this sort of kneadi ng in the KA, it would get very hot and fail. Even KA will tell you that. Been there, done that. Get a Bosch for long-kneading needs. :D
